WELCOME TO THE LOOM

The Loom is a creative gathering space, based in Little Rock, AR, where artists of all kinds are welcome to connect, share work & be part of a creative community.
Held monthly, each event blends different elements (galleries, open mics, live music, film screenings, crafts, hands-on experiences) featuring local Arkansas artists. Our goal is to build events that allow for communication, connection, and creativity that artists can look forward to, fostering the artistic community in Central Arkansas <3
The Loom was created to fill a need in our community for spaces where artists of all disciplines, all ages and all mindsets can meet to collaborate and create. Our name, The Loom, comes from the idea that individual threads become something stronger when brought together with intention. We see each artist as a thread, carrying their own craft and perspective & when threads intersect, they form a loom of community. Inspired by communal weaving traditions and figures like Arachne, as a symbol of devotion to craft and creation, The Loom represents art as connection.
